Chocolate Shake

1 cup of unsweetened non-dairy milk, vanilla flavored (soy, almond, rice, etc.)

1/2 cup frozen berries (cherries are great here, but any mixed berries are good, too)

2 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder

1 or 2 dates (they’re really great for you and sweet, but if you don’t have any, use a tablespoon of maple syrup or honey)

optional nutrient boost: 1-2 teaspoons of ground flax meal or chia seeds

Whiz it up until it’s nice and smooth, and enjoy the heck out of it.
